Chief

Born in « la Haute-Loire » in 1967, François Gagnaire has always known he would be a chef.

Alain Chapel, Pierre Gagnaire, Guy Lassausaie et Philippe Chavent, François has trained with the greatest before opening with his wife Isabelle, his first gastronomic restaurant at the first floor of 4-star l’Hôtel du Parc ****.

In this place of gastronomy, with a panoramic view of the hills of Puy-en-Velay, François obtained 1 star in the 2006 Guide Michelin and received in 2009 the title of «Chevalier de la Medaille de l’Ordre National du Mérite ».

After 14 years, François Gagnaire took his courage and his roots with him to start a new adventure of a larger dimension : Paris.

After a stint at « l’Hôtel du Collectionneur » as Executive Chef, François put his roots in la rue du Cherche Midi and opened at the end of November 2015 his natural bistrot, Anicia.
